Changes, changes everything rearranges. We have all heard the saying "if it’s not broke don't fix it". Well, I for one, am more interested in "if it’s not broke, break it"! Everything changes all the time and we must embrace change so we can improve ourselves, our livelihood, and our relationships. We are in the midst of the "Information Revolution." Just think about how the cell phone has changed over the last 20 years and how much will it change over the next 20 years?

At our restaurant, we try to change things all the time. We are constantly trying new things so that we can improve our systems, provide enhanced quality food or faster, superior service. This is always challenging as we have a limited menu.  As you see additional menu items come or go, it is because we are changing to try to bring improvements to our operation to serve you better. Please feel free to give us any suggestions you may have.  Now don't forget the sweet tea you got to have that!

Catering Season begins full swing in May around the USA. It's not too different here in Gainesville, Florida either. College graduation celebrations usually start the month off in Gainesville, FL with the mighty Florida Gators, as well as the Santa Fe Saints.  Weddings usually follow with all the rehearsal dinners, the actual receptions, oh and how about made to order omelets the day after the wedding for a brunch? The weather is usually just about right even though we warm up a little towards the end of the month; an occasional rain now and then cools things down just right. As June rolls in we start to see high school graduations as well as many company picnics and gatherings. As August rolls in, here come the Gators!  Wow, football and tailgating already! Where did the year go?

Having BBQ at the events is economical and always a hit. The challenges for the Pit master are not so overwhelming when you have been doing this for over 22 years at the same location! Let us take care of the planning for the food so you can enjoy your event.  At David's BBQ, we know catering and we know a good party when we see it!

Don't forget the Sweet Tea you got to have that!
